6月6日 美好的回忆--龙舟节The International Guang Zhou Dragon Boat Competition 2006 was finished finally. I am the interpreter and guide of Philippine Women team. It is a great time for me. The people from Philippine are so nice. Most of them can speak good English, which is out of my exception. The dragon boat competition is so serious! I can felt the spirit of teamwork form everyone in the team.
In the first day, in fact, I am a little unhappy why I can't go to Hong Kong to be the interpreter of western countries but Philippines. But now I am quite appreciate the opportunities to go with them. Esp. Belle, you have taught me a lot how to speak good English, and you are very kind to invite to your party at the last night. I am so sorry I was out at that time. And Jong, a special friend who is keen on Chinese culture also treat me well. We go to Starbucks and bar where you teach me how to mix the wine. And I am so sorry when we don't have a good ending with the foot massage in China trip. There some tricks there. I should have been aware of that. Maybe next time you come to China, I will be the host to take you around in Guangzhou. Because there are so many interesting place in Guangzhou. I hope you can come before I leave. Of course I have to thank to all other members of the team. They give me lots of keepsakes. Thank you all. And sure , the dictionary is also funny, I learn some Philippines now, "Salamat po" =thank you "paalam"=goodbye "mahal kita" = I love you. I love these. |
